Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
This is a one day course, run at your place of work. It is suitable for up to 8 candidates.
The course is designed for those who want to receive training in emergency first aid, and is especially suitable for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk work environemnts
Course contents:
- Role of the first aider
- Assessments of scene
- Burns, wounds and minor bleeds
- Shock and unconscious casualty
- CPR and AED
- Choking
Candidates are assessed throughout the course via work stations.
All candidates will receive a copy of the latest First Aid manual to keep.
