Dental Emergency First Aid at Work
This is a one day course, run at your place of work. It is suitable for up to 8 candidates.
The course is has been designed specifically for dental practices. It follows the same guidelines as the HSE recommeneded EFAW course, with a few dental additions!
Course contents:
- Role of the first aider
- Assessments of scene
- Minor burns, wounds and bleeds
- Shock and unconscious casualty
- CPR and AED
- Choking
- Medical Emergencies: diabetes, epilepsy, angina, chest pain, anaphylaxis, asthma
Candidates are assessed throughout the course via work stations.
*Each practice will receive a copy of the latest First Aid manual to keep.
*Each candidate will recieve an individual 7 hour eCPD certificate
*Hands on practical training, with live interactive manikins
